"Wars Change, Warriors Don't" The Warrior Ethos by Steven Pressfield

Steven Pressfield has done it again with The Warrior Ethos.  If you've spent any time on our site you know we are big fans of Mr. Pressfield.  Every Marine can, and will benefit from reading his works.

As he says "I am a writer. I write about war—external wars and internal wars, wars ancient and modern, real wars out of history and imagined wars that exist only in speculation.

Pressfield's newest web project is targeted for our Soldiers, Sailors, Airman and Marines and is called The Warrior Ethos.

We look forward to his detailed examination of the code by which men bond together and the combat cohesion that causes men to fight for each other and their nation.

His posts will appear online weekly.

Excerpt from
Chapter 1 "Tough Mothers":

The most famous Spartan mother story is also the shortest:  A Spartan mother handed her son his shield as he prepared to march off to battle. She said, “Come back with this or on it.”

Marines can follow Mr. Pressfield's weekly posts online at
The Warrior Ethos .
