Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference

Malcolm Gladwell takes the subject of transformation head on in
The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference.  He uses real world examples of fads or "epidemics" and directly relates how, under the right conditions, ideas can spread like viruses.   Gladwell uses real world examples such as Paul Revere's midnight ride, and the clean up of New York City crime that are easy to relate to and show how attention to detail on the little things can pay big dividends.

Whether you command a Rifle Squad or an Infantry Regiment this book is worth the reading.  Marine leaders at all levels will find very useful examples and good ideas to help get their message across and accomplish their goals.   This book addresses something all Marines can relate to -human behavior- as it relates to change.

Well, I just consumed this book in less than 24 hours. I couldn't put it down and it is a great resource for learning how to make things successful and especially for understanding why the Marine Corps concept of pushing leadership down to the lowest levels works so well.
